For our patients who are missing one or more teeth, dental implants are the most long-lasting and realistic-looking option. Permanent implants enable normal cleaning, eating, and speech. Typically, the implant procedure takes three to six months. The patient's mouth and jaw will be visually and CT-scanned at the first of three sessions to ascertain whether the patient is a good candidate for implants. The patient will be made comfortable with local anesthesia during the second session, and the gums and jaw will be prepped for the implants. After placing the titanium tooth roots in the patient's jaw, the dentist will stitch up the wounds.
